Melano CC Premium Essence is a beloved Vitamin C serum from Rohto, featuring a powerful formula that combines pure Vitamin C with three additional Vitamin C derivatives, along with Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, and Allantoin. This serum works to brighten dark spots, pigmentation, and uneven skin tone, while also supporting blemish-prone skin thanks to its soothing ingredients.

Despite its name, this product is not a watery “essence” but a true skincare serum in both texture and efficacy. It can be used as a daily serum for the entire face or as a spot treatment on targeted areas. With a refreshing citrus scent, it is suitable for all skin types. Due to the high potency of the formula, particularly for sensitive skin, a patch test is recommended before use.

How to use

Use once daily, in the morning or evening, after cleansing (toner may be used beforehand). Apply 4–5 drops to your fingertips and gently pat onto the desired areas or across the entire face until fully absorbed.

Note:

This formula is highly concentrated, so it’s recommended to start with a light application and observe how your skin responds. It is commonly believed that vitamin C is especially beneficial when used in the morning, due to its antioxidant support against UV rays and environmental stressors- however, it’s essential to follow with adequate hydration and sun protection. If irritation occurs, reduce the frequency or amount of use. When using other active skincare ingredients, be mindful of potential interactions- some combinations may increase sensitivity or reduce effectiveness.
